Sophia’s Bakery, Inc. began operations in 1981. Because of year over year growth, the plant expanded its foot print in 2010. Sophia’s is a highly automated facility. Our production process employs two flour silos and allows us to bake over 12,000 pita loaves per hour.
Our convenient Detroit location allows us to provide exceptional value to our customers. Many of our customers pick up pita bread the same day that it was baked, practically warm, right out of the oven.
We have many offerings under the Sophia’s Bakery brand. We also offer co-packing using your private label packaging. Do you have your own pita bread recipe? We can develop your recipe and scale it up so you can provide a unique offering under your own brand.
